That is a Kahle hook. Many catfish fisherman use them for cats. The will hook almost ever fish i the corner of the mouth. Eagle Claw makes them along with Gamakatsu… Hope this helps

True. Many hooks used for “bait” fishing work well for flies…companies often even sell the same style hook as a fly hook under another number at twice the price of their bait model. LOL
