Fly fishing for trout in Japan. 22 April 2010 It was cold and rain all day long. As the lower stream had swollen and became muddy, I climbed up into the upper small stream. Good size of ” Iwana” trout lived there. I used small barbless hook for those small fish.

Hi! Thank you for watching my youtube. I have two rods. My main rod is #3 8.9 feet . But It’s too long in the small mountain stream covered by bushes as you see in my vid. So I cut butt piece of my old cheap #4 7.5feet to made very short rod about 5 feet long. #5 line weight matches with this shot rod. Leaders and tippets are also very short about 3~5 feet. Anyway I prefer fishing in wide river :=)
