The fishing was great and the catching awesome. We were using Berkley sparkle chartreuse Power Bait with Shelton self releasing hook and tadpole™. We fished in several areas including the narrows, and the two large bays. We had most action by pulling boat up on points and fishing from the back of the boat. Had the pleasure of fishing with the Wildwood (Craig Wood) November 2006 at Lake Del Valle in Livermore, CA. The fantastic trout catching rig. We were using Berkley sparkle chartreuse Power Bait with Shelton selfreleasing hook™ and tadpole™ snagless weights. We had most action by pulling boat up on points and fishing from the back of the boat. what is the best bait to use for trout fishing in lakes? or rivers?
August 12th, 2009 at 8:44 pm
Rigs are fully tied and ready to fish…….My record on one rig is 100 trout before retiring it and my next best is 79 trout on one rig…….The fish ranged between 11/2 to 8 pounds..They are really tough rigs…Bill
If you break something just retie and keeps going.
