yes… 8wt is plenty for spanish……they come up to the jetties and in some bays here is texas… we were just looking around for anything busting top…. love me some flordia!

Can u catch them with a 8 weight rod? We only have to go about a mile out here in Naples, Fl. Nice vid

Can you use an 8 wt for spaniards. We only have to go a mile off shore to get spaniards here in Naples. I caught a 2 ft spaniard on spinner once it was fun. Nice vid Ill subscribe

we were chunking flys all day that day… no spin rods on boat… but i will remember that for the next spin trip!i know your right… have caught alot of spanish with yo-zuri’s…..

thanks a bunch tom… thanks for the tip on the tarpon… your right…that was my 1st time to run into texas tarpon…i guess i was so excited to finally ran into some tarpon i just had to show’em!

This was a quality show. Im impressed. Keep the good work and I hope you got a credit for what youre doing. Or at least will have a credit
Wish all the best for the future and Im a regular viewer from now.
One suggestion, starting part about tarpon was not needed. It just left sense of undone. If something doesnt happened dont show it

good question! i dont think it was… just something to keep his hands from getting a stripping cut…. that saltwater gets the hands pretty soft after a while…
