I agree, I fished this river about 20 times since late 80′s using my hot patterns (Yong Special/Yong wing/Yong Blood/AC candy/ YOJ) and we always caught lots of trout up to 30″. I was testing my 0 wt rod and new camera this time. I try to fish there once per year but that doesn’t happen often. One bad thing is that I see lots of people snag those big spawning trout every time I fished there. Happy fishing!
Taylor River is a great fisherie, you need know what your doing or else you get skunked! these fish have PH’D's in avoiding fisherman! is a beautiful place though.
