Today I went out fly fishing for some Bonefish, following the tip I received from a fisherman I spoke to yesterday. After trying different spots on my last effort I finally caught my first Bonefish on the Fly.

@chicharrone007 I’m using a 6 pounds divers lead weight and another 3 pounds on top of that during windy condition. I don’t use any other anchor cause they are hard to pull if they get hang up on weeds or kelp.

I went to a fly shop off of the Sea World exit and asked about possible ghost shrimp imitations. They didn’t have any specific pattern so I was wondering wear you got your ghost shrimp pattern. I was out bait fishing with pumped ghost shrimp from the bay and really want to try fly fishing with a ghost shrimp pattern.

I was using a ghost shrimp imitation red/white in color, on a sinking WF line 230 grain.
