The interview asked the question in russian and that is how he responded. He spoke both russian and mongolian, like many of the upper class mongolians.
Not just “upper class” Mongolians speak Russian, all strata are speakers…Ulan Bator and Moscow have had diplomatic relations for over 85 years…thousands of Mongols went to university in Russia and thousands of workers from former soviet union worked in Mongolia…for the Mongolians in the north, its practical to speak Russian if doing business with Russkies, also Buriat , Daur, Evenki even
CHEH! A lot of older generation Mongolians can speak Russian! Just like a lot of older generation Chinese can! COMMUNIST BUDDIES MAN! My chinese teacher learned Russian when she was in school.

Most rivers in Mongolia have plenty of fish. Even in some lost corners of Mongolia over 2m of trouts can be cached.
