Fly Fishing on Russell Pond, Sutton New Hampshire. Surprised that I didn’t drop the camera in the drink!

@WINNIETHEGUINEAPIG i fly fish mainly for bass and i like using #6 hook for dry flys and it depends on how big you want your fly to begin with but if you can only buy one size hook i like #6 for bass hope this helped
Hey, I’m new to fly fishing and I’m trying to order some wooly buggers. I have a 9 FT 7 weight rod and reel outfit and I was wondering what size hooks I need. I want a size that i can use both on Trout and Largemouth Bass.. Thanks in advance.
Excellent video. I noticed you kept the tip in the water when you were working the lure. Did you mean to do this? I’m new to fly fishing and never saw that before. I have yet to catch a bass and it looks like so much fun. I catch a lot of crappy where I live. That river you were fishing looks epic.
Thank you… I used a Targus Grypton Portable Tripod. I also attached one of the legs with the velcor that is used to hold a fly rod and it worked out really well.
