Fly fishing for trout in Japan. 22 April 2010 It was cold and rain all day long. As the lower stream had swollen and became muddy, I climbed up into the upper small stream. Good size of ” Iwana” trout lived there. I used small barbless hook for those small fish.

No female nor large salmon were harmed in the making of this video, but the rest were eaten. The very big fish was lost after 45 minutes and 1/4 mile as the rod and line broke due to angler error. This is just a teaser of the fish we managed to get into while fly fishing in ontario for migratory steelhead, trout and salmon in 2009. Bingo Bango Fishing Adventures in Ontario. We primarily fish the Saugeen, Bayfield, Bighead, Maitland and Nine Mile rivers.

The fishing season began on 1st of March in my area. We have less snow this year than last year. On 13th March 2009 , It was a cold morning and the activity of “Iwana” trout was not high.
