Here it is the final cut. Fly Fishing The Casselman River in the Deep Creek area has been an amazing experience. We had constant showers that day, but it made for some beautiful conditions and excitement on the river. I love having the opportunity to fish all of Maryland and Pennsylvania’s rivers and we look forward to exploring more waterways in the future. Thanks to all of your support and appreciation we have been contacted by a few real supporters including Dave Kile from www.PaFlyFish.com who wrote a beautiful piece on his website about our documentaries. I hope you really enjoy this one, I did have to put the cameras away for a while and dealt with a lot of fogging up due to the conditions. I am still very happy with how this film came out so sit back, relax, and enjoy! Keep your lines tight! Adam

www.flyfishingoutfitters.com “Side-to-side movement is pretty intoxicating for any predatory fish.” So says Charlie Bisharat, inventor of one of the most revolutionary flies in recent memory, the Pole Dancer. Born of Charlie’s “love for topwater stripers”, the Pole Dancer was designed to imitate the action of conventional lures like the Zara Spook and the Lunker Plunker. As experienced bass and striper anglers know, this zig-zag, ‘walk-the-dog’ action mimics the movement of a wounded baitfish, and is far more enticing to big-shouldered fish than any ordinary in-line retrieve. The Pole Dancer fly achieves this unique action in large part thanks to its molded foam head, which builds water pressure on one side of the fly when retrieved with sharp stripping motions and causes the fly to veer from left to right and back again. For the Pole Dancer to achieve this action, everything about the fly must be in balance. To ensure this, the head is held neutral by weight placed toward the back of the shank, and tail materials are kept evenly distributed by a beefy monofilament anti-fouling guard. Beyond these functional design attributes, the Pole Dancer has a few nice touches that are characteristic of almost any fly that’s successful with predatory fish: big eyes and a red ‘bleeding’ gill slit add a level of realism that help seal the deal. Though it was first developed for stripers on the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta system, the Pole Dancer fly has done very well in tropical …

Selecting The Best Fly Fishing Flies There are many types of fly fishing flies and it is going to be up to you in the end to make sure that you are getting exactly what you need. If there is someone around you that has more experience then you do, there is nothing wrong in asking for their advice on what type of fly fishing flies you should be going with. With their guidance you should be able to get a good jump-start on catching those fish. There are also a lot of books, magazines, and even websites that can offer you a lot of information on which kind of flies are good fly fishing flies. Where To Purchase Them The bigger sporting goods stores will have a lot of different kinds of fly fishing flies for you to pick from. If you do want the biggest selection possible when it comes to fly fishing flies, your best bet is to search the web, as you will be able to shop from places all over the world. If you do not like Internet shopping though you are still in luck because you can still find yourself a good selection of fly fishing flies at your local stores. Make sure that you are only making purchases that will benefit your fishing experience. Having the right kind of fly fishing flies is important for your overall fishing experience and enjoyment.

www.norfolkflyfishing.com Fly Fishing Basics | Part 2 In part 1 of this short fly fishing basics series, Tim Gaunt-Baker talked about the synergy between the rod and the line; the meaning of the markings on the rod as well as the double taper and weight forward lines. As a fly fishing beginner, the best line to start with is a weight forward line that matches your rod. Note, you must ensure you get a well balanced rod. In this, part 2 of Fly Fishing Basics, Tim demonstrates both the correct way and the incorrect way of performing the roll cast and the overhead cast, the two building blocks of fly fishing. For a more detailed, written explanation of the fly fishing basics tutorials, go to www.norfolkflyfishing.com

www.wideopen.dk Trailer for a DVD fishing movie. The experienced flyfisherman Claus Eriksen shares his knowledge, strategy, locations and tactics on a number of fishing trips during the spring on different locations. Claus covers all details and the camera is on all the time. Aerial photos show the different types of locations. The underwater footage is unique showing sea trout swimming in schools where Claus is fishing, sea trout chasing prey and detailed studies of the flies under water. The bonus material shows the tying of the flies used in the movie. An entertaining film with lots of tips and advice, great setting, action packed sequences and lots of great catches. The film is primarily on spring fishing for sea trout, but a lot of the advice given can be used year round.

Another fantastic video featuring NYS guide Rich Garfield of flyfishtheadirondacks.com. Rich is one of the premier fishing guides in the Adirondacks and covers most of the best rivers in region 5 covering the north eastern New York State region. In this video he guides a client from Long Island to one of the best days of fly fishing he has ever experienced. Many WILD brown trout from 6-21 inches long are caught and released. Classic fly fishing action on what may be the crown jewel of the Adirondack rivers. Hatches come off all day on a very remote and beautiful river. Rainbows and brookies are also present but Vohn Behr is the king here. Awesome fishing!!!!!!!!

Here is the final cut of the Morgan Run Episode. This episode will be broken into two parts since I prefer to keep each movie under 10 min. I can only hold your attention for so long. Besides it takes me hours and hours in the editing room to produce a few minutes of final work. So for the sake of my sanity I will break this into two parts. I adjusted the music on this final cut since earlier versions felt too slow. I love the “how you like me now” track. Tell me what you think, I love all the responses I’ve received so far it keeps me motivated to make more! Enjoy!
