Many people would call this style of fly a Spey Fly. I would prefer to call them North American Collar Flies. Spey Flies are very exacting in materials and style. This fly will work very well in all rivers where black and white are popular. Atlantic Salmon can only see black and white in low light situations. Blue is the last color that they can see before the light is lost.
